and hard disk drive data recovery and analysis

Hard disk drive (HDD) data recovery requests occur more often that you may realise. Failures and loss of data can occur for a multitude of reasons including:

  • Hard disk failure
  • Component failure (read/write heads, servo mechanism, firmware corruption, assemblies, platters, drive motors etc)
  • Formatting or overwriting of drives
  • Corrupt or missing critical file system structures
  • Accidental or intentional file deletion or 'hiding'
  • Virus or worm contamination
  • Application or operating system crash or bootup problems
  • Partitioning problems
  • Damage due to power failure or power surge, lightning strikes, floods, smoke, fire and even coffee
  • Failure due to wear/tear and age of drive where the hard disk drive is out of warranty. (Like all things technical, all drives have a "natural life span" or a "Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF)" which means that they will fail eventually. The Brody Organisation aim to recover your valuable and irreplaceable data from hard disk drives (HDD) and, if required, to analyse that data and to provide a written report.
  • In this regard, The Brody Organisation offer a very different service from most data recovery companies: we have extensive expert witness experience utilising evidence gathering techniques and software which is recognised and accepted by the Courts worldwide. We have experience of COPINE scaling coupled with an unbridled knowledge of how, when and where illegal content was downloaded from.

Our hard disk drive (HDD) recovery specialists are true data recovery experts, with many years of experience and have proven in-depth knowledge of hard disk drive data recovery. Utilising highly sophisticated technology, along with proprietary data recovery tools, The Brody Organisation can effectively recover your data.

It is important to note that unless a hard drive has suffered extensive physical damage the chances are high that The Brody Organisation can access and restore most, if not all, of your data.  We DO NOT recommend that you attempt to restore the data yourself.  If you hear clicking or scraping sounds coming from your hard drive, call in experts.  If you attempt to recover the data yourself, further damage to the platters can occur and can be to the detriment of recovery attempts by specialists.

We can provide hard disk drive data recovery solutions for all manufacturers and operating systems; we have even retrieved deleted data from mobile telephones!

Our rates vary according to client needs and requirements and can provide a CV and Rate sheet which has been previously approved and accepted by the Courts. If you are an individual, we can often offer a no retrieval, no fee option - simply contact us to discuss your requirements.
